In less than two weeks the Maker Faire will come to Rome. It’s a 3-day gathering of makers, hackers, companies and hobbyists with the passion for electronics, programming, manufacturing, artistry, learning and creating.
There will be some practical workshops, tons of lectures, and bigger talks called “cortocircuiti” (shortcircuits). It will be hosted in the University of La Sapienza, which is very close to the central train station of Roma Termini. The opening keynote will be presented by Massimo Banzi, the creator of Arduino.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to attend, anyway I’m sure that everyone participating will have a good time!
